A woman was walking down the street with her fourteen year old child. The young girl was blurting out all kinds of remarks, "Mom, there is a dog barking. Mom, that lady is singing. Mom, why are those people yelling? Did you hear that bird make that strange noise? What was that, Mom??? ..."

As she passed a couple of teenagers, one asked the mother, "Why does your child ask so many questions about everyday things?!

Mom replied, "My daughter was born deaf. Today is the very first day she has heard a sound so everything she hears is brand new to her. Until now, the world has been completely silent. We just left the hospital to go home. The doctors were able to do something so that my precious child can hear."

We do not always know what another person has or is going through.  Not a good idea to judge others.
